After Care Instructions

Final Microblading results depend greatly on how well you take care of your eyebrows post-procedure. It is completely normal for some hair strokes to ‘fall out’ during the healing process. They will go through a fading phase and then reappear once the skin is fully healed. Any adjustments to color or shape can be made at your touch-upappointment. This process can be a bit of a roller coaster so please be patient for your final results. To assure you get the best results it is important to follow these instructions.

Please restrict your physical activities such as exercising, being in direct sun and recreational water activities (including but not limited to gardening, hot-tub use, pool, Jacuzzi or going to the beach). Please also limit your exposure to pets for the first 24 hours as they can harbor bacteria and introduce it to your fresh brows. Infection is possible if you do not keep the area clean.

*DO NOT get your eyebrows wet at all for the first 24 hours after your appointment. You can wash your face but please avoid the brow area. Once the 24 hour mark has passed you can GENTLY wash with the cleanser provided and pat dry.

*DO NOT rub or scrub the area.

*DO NOT wax your eye brows until after the hair strokes have healed.

*DO NOT apply makeup to your brow area until the hair strokes have healed.

*DO NOT rub or pick at the area.

*DO NOT exercise for 3-5 days. This is crucial for the day of and after your procedure.

*DO NOT swim or soak in a hot tub or jacuzzi until tattoo is completely healed. Showers are fine.

*DO NOT tan for at least 10 days after treatment, this includes spray tans.

*DO NOT use harsh cleansers or exfoliators on the area, including alcohol.

*DO NOT receive a glycolic peel or laser treatment until 6 weeks after your Microblading treatment.

*Please DO use sunscreen on your brows AFTER they have fully healed. This will prolong their appearance.

*Please DO keep your eyebrows moisturized with Hustle Butter while they heal.

Redness, light swelling and tenderness is common after your Microblading procedure. The following are signs and symptoms of minor infection and do not require medical attention: redness, swelling, painful and hot to the touch around the procedure site. Seek Immediate medical attention if you have any signs or symptoms of major infection such as: fever, streaking around procedure site or purulent drainage from procedure site.

Microblading Healing Timeline

Day 1: Your brows will look amazing and you wont stop staring at them in the mirror! Prepare your phone for selfies! (light swelling, redness and tenderness are completely normal)

Days 2-3: Your brows will look much darker. You be concerned with the color but don’t be alarmed, this is normal!

Days 3-6: You will notice light scabbing and some itching. Remember, do not pick or scratch the area. If you must itch, gently dab them with a clean, lightly damp Q-tip.

Days 7-14: This is when some people get concerned. They will look like they are falling off and disappearing as the scab flakes off. It is normal to see pigment come off with the scabbing. Don’t freak out!

Days 15-21: Your brows will appear significantly lighter and patchy in some areas. This disappearing phase is totally normal. This is the skins natural process in healing adding a new layer of skin around the hair strokes. Again, don’t freak out!

Days 21+: Yay! Your brows have fully healed and the true pigment is exposed.

Day 28: Time for your 4-6 week touch up. This session is to add another layer of hair stokes and any adjustments to shape, color and add in any hair strokes that may have fallen out during the healing process.
